Um. I prefer getting kudos? They don't require a response, and since I literally spent an hour and a half responding to comments today, that's a very big point in their favor. (That's not bragging, by the way--it was across several stories that were received relatively well, and I tend to let them build up. Then it gets out of hand. I can't even imagine how BNFs handle it.)
