This. I almost never leave reviews unless the fic is one of my absolute favourites, especially if it's on-going and I want to comment on new developments. But I will leave kudos on plenty of things because I enjoyed it well enough. If I can't leave a review that amounts to more than "this was good, I liked it" then I really don't see what difference it makes.
