I have trouble with reviews because authors seem to want concrit, and it's not something I'm very good at giving. I'm not the best writer - not horrible, but not the best - and if I really liked something my reactions are almost always overwhelmingly positive and I don't have much in the way of crit (unless it's grammar, but that *does* make me feel like a tool).

Yeah, that too. There's also the writers who react badly to crit in the first place, or have a horde of white knights.

Yahtzee is the goddamn best at everything. Good job, person! You made me smile today.

Ugh. Can't stand either of these. Especially the white knights.

I don't think authors really want concrit in the comments, even if they're asking for it. If you really liked something and feel like you want to comment, it's totally okay for your comments to be entirely positive.
