I think the best feedback I got in terms of comments/reviews was from LJ when it was more active. I've had excellent feedback from both FFN and AO3 too, but I felt like LJ comments stood out more because you didn't get alerts for when people added your stuff to memories without commenting. In contrast, you get alerts for kudos and favourites/follows and it makes it more obvious who didn't leave reviews or comments because of that.
