Eh, I think writing solely for reviews is a quick road to disappointment.
You should really be writing because it's something you enjoy doing. If people review then it's just a bonus.

To be honest there are times where I really enjoy reading something, but I legitimately can't think of what to say. I hate how it has become bad etiquette to just favorite something instead of leaving a review. I think favoring a story should count for more because it means you like it enough to want to remember it, whereas 100's of reviews mostly consisting of 'good job' or 'update plz' feels cheap. Quality over quantity and all that.
