Yeah, sorry, rage inducing, don't say I didn't warn you. I always find it hilarious when Tumblr says something is so horrible they stopped reading after seeing one of the many horrible things they're yammering about. Stop taking other people's word for the allegedly horrible things you didn't see, and either read the article or only yammer about the part you did read.
Reading comprehension is your friend, it separates the functionally literate from those who can read words and yet are illiterate. It baffles me how much of the Tumblr crowd seems to be college age or older. Old enough to know how to read and how to behave like civilized beings. Heck, I know 8 year old children who are better at being offended while maintaining composure and reason than Tumblr.
And for all they spout about activism and calling out [insert offence here], they're really only doing harm to the issues they claim to represent. The last thing transgender rights needs is a bunch of wackos screaming their heads off like this and making all trans people look like crazies.

I said a while back (I don't remember what secret it was in response to, and it was before I made an account so I can't really find it) that I wondered what Tumblr thought of trans men. Trans = shiny, man = demonscum. So where does a trans man fit in? Well, now I know. Those Star Trek gifs are starting to seem less and less worth it.

Anyway, I had a point when I started typing, not sure where it went. But this ark sounds like a very good idea. Just make sure enough of the cisscum are brilliant geneticists and reproduction shouldn't be an issue :)

Funnily enough, most of the minute details concerning race and racial relations and stuff that I see online? Didn't come up when I want to one of the biggest single state/region NAACP conventions in the country (CA-HI). And that's after discounting the race-in-the-media component that makes up the bulk of it.

Same thing with gender, too. You can claim that using "females" to refer to women is universally degrading to women in the English language all you want, you'll never make me believe that all the doctors, ministers, and community leaders who used "females" when discussing the prevalence of HIV among young African-American women are somehow secretly sexist and attempting to dehumanize the very women they were trying to humanize for that kind of discussion in the first place. >.<

THANK YOU

I was so confused when I saw someone start telling someone to die for referring to someone's "female ex"

like "damn now we can't use that word either? ffs"
