This is literally the worst thing I have ever seen in a video game. Or at least, the most offensive.

Who the goddamn hell thought that was a good character design?

Uh no, they're not being ridiculous. That's the worst I've seen as well.

It's just ugly-gross and uncomfortable looking. It doesn't even work as fanservice.

Are there worse character designs, in terms of "sexyness" or "nakedness"? Yes.

Are there more impractical character designs? Yes.

But this is definitely the worst example of gratuitous naked womanflesh and impractical costuming decisions I have ever seen, especially when combined with the complete lack of sexual appeal I am seeing in that woman. Like, she does not look happy. She does not look comfortable, or like she just wants to feel sexy. She looks like a tired, bored, unhappy lady in ridiculous clothes.

I went back and looked at her face and you're right. She looks so depressed and miserable.

Actually it's quite understandable she looks so miserable. She got tortured (in a non-sexual, low-contact yet really painful way - this is not a "rape as backstory" thing) under Big Boss' orders and she wants him dead ASAP. Look at my comment below, please? The design is offputting to me too, but it looks like there's an in-game explanation for this thing.

Oh. So you didn't see the lovingly rendered vulva on banshee enemies in Mass Effect 3?

I actually had not noticed that, but now I will have to go look at the character models again.

Like I looked up pics of banshees and banshee designs and didn't see an outrageous vulva, just a weird thigh-gap

This is the best I got.

I'm not convinced it's not shopped on, except for the fact that nobody else has said it's fake (well, none of the comments I read anyway). I wish I could see the original to be 100% convinced. Still, if true, I agree that it's a shame that they focused so hard on this and not on things that are more easily appreciable in the game (because, as someone said on that LJ post, if you're that close to a banshee, you're dead).

...I don't think very many people are going to fanboy banshee vulvas, so I don't see it as a big objectification thing, aside from the fact that it's kinda weird that they were thinking about it. ~~But then for pretty much everything that exists, someone faps to it, so...~~

That was one picture but it was also on the BSN with a bunch of different pictures from multiple sources. I just- this was a while ago and to hunt down all those threads would take a skill I don't have. I've never heard anyone refute it, not even Bioware. You'd think if it was a shop they would say they didn't do it? Make themselves look better?

(And yeah, most of those shots from banshees are from dead people in multiplayer.)

I don't think anyone is going to go over it either. However, that plus the LED nipples just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

There's camel toe on the Asari dancers in that club in ME1. I saw that on the dancer who's on her knees and I couldn't roll my eyes enough.

I really, really hate to say it, but if that's the most offensive thing you've ever seen in a video game you've lived a charmed life. :(
