For a long time, I thought "hth" meant "hate this hate". It actually fit most of the time I saw it, like "we've had this wank so many times, why are we talking about it again."

But then, I'd see it in an argument about something random like how people peel bananas differently, and I think "... does this actually happen a lot"?
