I do this a lot. I get really absorbed in one fandom's fics/art/fandom and stay that way until I move along. Though I think I've been growing more into long-lasting fandom.

But yeah, right now I'm playing Mass Effect 3 and watching Fringe for the first time, and both are consuming my fannish feelings.
