So, you know that story in the Norse myths were Loki was tied down and had a snake continuously drip poison on him and he trashed so badly from the pain that he made the earthquakes a thing? Well, guess what Odin chose as a punishment for him after The Avengers! Thor's not happy when he finds out.
Mother of Monsters (complete; humor)
“My brother has borne several children in the past,” Thor says. When none of the Avengers say anything in response, instead electing to stare at him in horror, he seems confused. “Did you not know of this?”
“I think I speak for all of us when I say, what the hell, man?” Clint says, doing something vaguely threatening with the salt shaker from the center of the table. “Your brother is just. So messed up, Thor.”
Turn A Corner In The Night (Loki/Thor; action, drama; complete)
“I will be Loki’s champion,” says Thor. His voice rings through the great hall, regal and bold, every inch a king in bearing. Every inch a fool.
Thanos’ lips curl back from wide teeth, a grotesque mockery of a grin. “So be it.”

AU where Loki is much younger than Thor. Thor gets himself banished, Odin falls into the Odin-sleep and Loki has to rule Asgard in the meantime.

So the Warriors 4 come to Midgard to help Thor and the Avengers. Thor makes it clear they are to avoid killing Midgardians, (and his brother if this is all his fault which it probably is).
So the battle goes well, but...in private the warriors voice disgruntlement.
Why?
Because most of the humans fight like Loki. Hawkeye and Black Widow striking from a distance (and at least he has the balls to use a bow and arrow). Tony's tricks and brain. Banner, while a great warrior and beserker, is unseemly in how he cringes from close combat save in the most dire of circumstances.
Really, they only like Steve.
But the Avengers overhear.
And Steve remembers he used to be a 90 pound sickly nothing.
No super serum for Loki.
No piles of cash for his brain for Loki.
No moving beyond shitty melee fighting for Loki.
And Bruce remembers how his father feared his intelligence as a child. And Bruce wonders if this has been Loki's Hulk the entire time.
Two Princes / Learning How to Crawl (Loki/Thor; incomplete)
Fish-out-of-water story. AU. Banished to Midgard for ages, Thor and Loki are not happy campers. Or even happily married for that matter. But they still hold true to their oaths.
The Arrangement (gen; sorta Loki/Thor? no underage sex; incomplete)
Thor has always been grateful for the distance between Midgard and the rest of the Nine. It has allowed him to keep his duties as a prince of Asgard separate from his life as an Avenger. When Loki shows up, all his careful arrangements become terribly entangled.
Norsekink prompt: child bride!kid!Loki (arranged, political marriage) shows up at the Avengers manor because he's bored, okay, so bored, Asgard is dull when Thor isn't there, and Asgard is rather happy to have a break from his mischief and Thor must keep him.
Afterglow (Loki/Thor; complete)
Odin and Frigga make a bet about who Thor will bed first. They get incest!
Forget Me Not (gen; complete)
So after one fight where Loki's all "I hate you not-brother" like he often is in fanfic, Thor finally just says "I see my presence is bothering you. If I truly love you, I must respect your wishes. I shan't bother you any longer." And then he walks away.
And as time goes on, Thor will step up to help foil Loki's schemes, but he stops treating him differently from other villains. He doesn't talk to him, there's no more asking him to come home, no more appeals to his better nature. Nothing. Thor's given up on Loki.
Cue Loki going halfway insane trying to get Thor to talk to him again.
Wendigo (Gen; complete)
A cannibal Loki ends up working for S.H.I.E.L.D. This is a surprisingly good thing for his mental well-being. It's much better and actually less dark than it sounds, promise.
A Villain State of Mind (gen; complete)
SHIELD has Loki in custody, with the gag on to keep him from spellcasting, but they don't really know what to DO with him. They can't give him food or water or attempt to interrogate him with the gag on, and they don't dare take it off. Their solution? Call in a telepath! But Charles Xavier may find more things in Loki's head than SHIELD bargained for...

When Thor returns from Asgard to rejoin the Avengers, he brings Loki in tow--stripped of his magic and bound with a geas that allows him to speak only in response to direct questions.
Daemon 'Verse (gen; fusion with His Dark Materials' Daemons)
Loki had her all his life. A constant presence at his side, a voice to talk to, even when the rest of Asgard doesn’t listen. He has no word for what she is, or why no one else seems to have one.
Alternate Universe where Frost Giants have daemons and Aesir do not.

Loki has his tongue cut out and is dumped back on Earth. The Avengers reluctantly take him in unsure if they're imprisoning Loki or providing sanctuary. Meanwhile, the US presidential election season is in full swing and a strange silver bracelet is being passed from hand to hand around the world ...
The Unwinding of Loki (Loki/Thor; incomplete)
Unsure of his place on Asgard, Loki runs away to Midgard.
Find a Home (Loki/Thor; complete)
The Chitauri are coming to Asgard for the Tesseract and Loki, Odin tells Loki he must swear loyalty to him or he'll hand him over to the Chitauri, Loki is all like "no fuck you dad", but Thor is all like "fuck no that's my little brother, no one's surrendering him" and Frigga high fives him and helps him so he sneaks Loki to Midgard. The Avengers aren't impressed. Things just kind of turn into a clusterfuck after that.

A what if story, featuring the death of Odin. Odin dies trying to explain to Loki about the deception of his birth. Loki, suddenly the King of Asgard, must learn to be something he isn't. Thor must learn to be human, without ever knowing what is it to be a hero.

Loki curses someone so that, whenever they have sex, an adorable Doxen puppy appears nearby out of nowhere. And of course, if A and B did it and B does it with C, they pass the curse onto C and so on and so forth. Bonus points for Character A not knowing they were cursed and being ewually confused by the presence of the puppies.
