It's fandom. It's a kink. Fictional fandom kinks ≠ the real world. Will some people still act like they are and tell you you're an irl pedo if you ship a fictional underage character with a fictional adult character? Yes. Ignore them and move on. Do what you want to do in fandom. You're not feminism-failing or trans-failing because you like some kink that pings off this stuff. Lots of kinks are based on exploring the tension present in situations that are really messed up in real life.

I'm trans, and I'm into lots of kinks related to gender. People kinking on something related to gender or transness don't bother me. The two main things that bother me are a) people who are assholes to real trans people, and b) cis people who post long pearl-clutching screeds about how all trans porn is horrible and fetishistic and therefore they will protect us poor trans people by never posting/reblogging any of that bad trans porn ever. NEWSFLASH: pretty much all porn is based on objectifying people and their bodies. Focusing on the bodies and what makes them hot is kind of the whole thing. There's nothing wrong with that. As long as you're not, say, tracking down trans people irl and harrassing them to fuck you just because they're trans or something when they've turned you down, you're okay. What you do in your RP is not hurting anyone. Don't stress so much about it.

Hey, thanks. I was starting to feel really badly about sending this secret. Most people strongly dislike shota, and I knew that, but being equated to a child molester is very upsetting. Precisely because fantasy kinks =/= RL, & I thought I had made plenty clear I roleplayed the shota. As in, fantasized with /being him/.

As for harrassing anyone, about anything, I assure you that's not my style. Even less when it comes to the LGTBQ, heck, I'm even in two of the letters there.
