War AUs with historical wars, especially Germany-based WWII AUs. Fuck you, Google translate is not an option to get the sentences your Nazi officers spout at the camp prisoners translated. Fuck you for fetishising the Holocaust. Fuck you, mass murder is not sexy and nobody wants to read about that character being turned into a Nazi woobie.

I always hate an AU when the only thing that reminds you of the original canon is the names of the characters. Non-magical AUs of magical settings are especially bland.

Historical AUs where you notice the author didn't even spend five minutes on Wikipedia to research even the most basic facts. Historical AUs where the normal names are used are also very jarring. It might be easier to read, but if your writing is so bad that you absolutely need the names to recognise the characters, it's no good anyway.

I dislike Coffe Shop AUs, but I have read one or two that were very well done.
