I'm trying this again. I'm looking for a Ken/Aya (Ran) fic from Fanfiction.net - I remember it was angsty and Ken compulsively brushed his teeth when he was being bizarre and emo.

There was this fic where Giles was killed by Angelus instead of Jenny...and she saved his soul in one of her little magic cueball thingies, and a few chapters later she brought him back. I recall that Buffy was a mess while he was dead, and she staked Angelus.

IT was pretty cheesy and not the best-written, but I nonetheless remember it fondly. Long shot, but if you know it....

I'm pretty sure it's on AO3 if you check the Giles/Jenny tag. There aren't all that many fics to search through so you should be able to find it. If not, make a post on tumblr tagging the pairing and the fandom will help you out. They're really nice and really quick about answering questions posted in the ship tags.

OH MAN this is such a longshot. I remember it was set well after the series ended; all the gundam pilots were grown. Trowa and Quatre were married (I think...) and Heero had disappeared. Duo was the main character. A war breaks out, Duo ends up maybe kidnapped?? by Heero and Wufei, who is kind of like Heero's right hand man (and he shaved his head!). Anyways, they started this new war. I don't remember a lot of the plot but I do remember that Heero and Duo had not kept in touch during peace time, and Heero tells Duo something like "If war is what keeps us together, I'll make sure this universe never sees peace" or something overwrought like that.

That is so vaguely familiar....but then I read a lot of post-war fics that focused on Heero, Duo, and Wufei and had Trowa and Quatre married so I have no idea.

Yeah. I never even really read GW gif and this sounds crazy familiar.

Yeah. All the places I use to read GW fic are dead so it's difficult to even try to find this too. :T

I have a bit of a sleuthing challenge, if anyone is up for it.

There's this fic called Just a Walk in the Woods, by saph_ronal. It was for Inception, it was Cobb/Arthur/Eames and it was tentacle porn. Fun times.

Unfortunately, the journal was deleted, and I've been wondering if anyone knows of another place it was posted. This is the old URL: http://saph-ronal.livejournal.com/681.html (and yes, I tried the Wayback Machine. Would have worked if not for LJ's meddling robots.txt). It was originally written for the kink meme, but all that's under the prompt is the above link.

If you have any clues, that would be amazing! It's been a while since I've read this (obviously), but from what I remember it was pretty damn good.

This is so great. I just went on a massive hunt for this myself, trying to remember details and chasing links, and finally came upon . . . this page. Well.
