After watching the new anniversary short I have come to the conclusion that McGann was by far the sexiest doctor.

Also I think the name 'The War Doctor' is stupid. Thoughts?

I love that there is new generation of fans who are going, "Wait? Who is this dream boat Doctor?"

I remember watching when the Doctor Who TV movie originally aired in the US. I even taped it but no one wanted to watch it with me because no one except the geeks knew who Doctor Who was. And I also remember sounding completely insane trying to explain Doctor Who to people. "Okay, there's this alien only he looks human. He has this time machine-spaceship that kind of looks like a blue phone booth but it's a police box. Think of it like a police tool shed on every random street corner. And he fights these aliens that look like salt and pepper shakers with plungers attached. And they are supposed to be really scary. It's a cool show, I swear!"

Paul McGann looks oddly like John Keats (or did back when the Eighth Doctor movie was made) and is therefore a dreamboat. I didn't think other people were going to notice that ever (well, the dreamboat part, they'll still probably never notice the Keats part).

The movie was pretty lame and had a stupid plot, but McGann did justice to the character anyway. It'd be nice if we'd seen more of him.

I should probably go watch this short now. I saw a link to it earlier but still haven't gotten a change to watch it.

He is MOST dreamy, and his TARDIS is glorious.

McGann has a sexy voice too, and I quite enjoyed his audiobooks. :D

I don't even like Doctor Who but if McGann came back to do a whole season instead of just one movie, I would watch the shit out of it.

But I really want them to continue the Hornblower movies instead. The actors are just the right age now for Admiral Hornblower and Friends.

Is there any chance of more Hornblower movies? I seem to remember they stopped when they did because there was some problem that kept them from continuing, like they lost the rights or the star didn't want to do them anymore or something like that.

Oh, a good part of the stars wants to. Thing is that nobody really knows who holds the rights to the series atm - I think.

I am just overjoyed that more people are saying, "Oooh, I need to know about this Doctor~". I've been fretting that they pretty much made the Paul McGann's 8th non canon. Also, I've been fangirling forever b.c 8 8DDD

I adore McGann. I think he's an amazing actor and ADORABLE Doctor. I'm a sad that apart from the tv movie. He hasn't had that much spotlight. (He did a bunch of audio stuff, but most people are like Who's McGann?)
