Yeah, I thought that was pretty bullshit. But it also seems like they probably don't age, unless they want to? I mean, Thor, Loki & the Warriors 3 have looked young for how many centuries but Odin and Frigga look older? Maybe they aren't eating the apples as often and it makes them more susceptible? Or he hit something vital that she couldn't recover from immediately? It seemed like they did die in battle, so maybe they're like the elves in Lord of the Rings that don't seem to die from old age, just from battle or willing themselves to die?
