Well, you *brought* it up as a point in your critique (laundry list of unsubstantiated complaints, really), so why shouldn't those anons address it? I agree with some of your other points but come on, own up to it, that gods-not-gods thing was dumb.

Unsubstantiated complaints? Uh-huh. you mad 'cause I hate your movie. Got it. And no, there's nothing dumb about being irked about gods getting demoted. I don't care if it's like that in the source material, that doesn't make it magically likable to me. Is it the worst failing of this mess of a movie? No, I will admit that much, the the bar isn't exactly high.

No, they're made because you're a fucking idiot that can't tell the difference between comic books and Norse mythology.

Hate the movie all you want but hate it for what it is, not what you think it was supposed to be.

Are you one of those rare people who actually still worships the Norse gods? I know they exist. I've met a few.

If so...look, just chill the hell out. This is a Marvel comics adaptation. I mean shit, Loki isn't even a straight up villain in the original mythology. Often enough he's not even Thor's brother. So really, I don't see why you're having such a pissing contest about a comics adaptation.
