It's gotten to the point where my landlord offered to talk to them about keeping it more clean, since he was aware of their habits when I first moved in. I kind of want to take him up on the offer, but I don't want it to seem like I'm tattling on them or whatever.

The other thing is, I really don't know what to say, or how to talk to people about doing what should be expected of them, and I've told them a few times seriously that leaving it like that is pretty gross. It hasn't phased them, so I'm not sure how else I can talk to them without acting like a bitch. I have to live with them, and I want to have a good relationship with them, so I don't want that to be soured by being a bitch.

The one time I snapped and cleaned the whole bathroom myself because there were cockroaches in there, my one roommate and the previous roommate seemed pretty ashamed and thanked me for doing it. It was kind of gross as it hadn't been touched for a few weeks (I had some serious health problems, and they were too lazy), but they still didn't make an effort to clean it more regularly afterwards.

I really am thinking about asking my landlord for backup, but I just dunno.

I feel you on not knowing what to say. my roommate showers maybe once every week and a half and our room smells like body odor every time she comes in. I know I need to say something but..how do you tell someone to start bathing?? ugh!
