Well, a good 50% of it is incest. And if you want kink, you need to go to the Bolton and Greyjoy parts of the fandom, they're the kinky ones.

I'm just saying incest would be considered kinky by a lot of fans, and this fandom really gives you a lot of that. Even for non-canon incest ships. Just because it's partly canon doesn't mean it's not kinky.

You're right about the second thing, though. This fandom is incredibly judgemental about which characters you like, which pairings you ship and so on. Fortunately there are also nicer corners of the fandom (westerosorting and both fic exchanges are very welcoming towards fans of any ship and pairing; it's mostly tumblr that's shaming people for what they like).

And as the other anon said, there are lots of non-canon ships with more closely related characters, Robb/Sansa, Victarion/Asha, Theon/Asha, Dany/Viserys ...
