Agreed. OP doesn't even have to say a word about the fic itself, even "Thanks for writing for my prompt!" would be better than nothing. Fandom should be about spreading sunshine, not raining on your fellow fans, OP.

Eh, if someone replied to my response just thanking me for the fill I'd take that as a pretty clear message they didn't like it. I personally would just prefer to imagine happier reasons why they never replied like they forgot they prompted it, gave up on someone filling it, have too busy to check back yet, or got hit by a car.
