After re-reading what I wrote, I realized that that was a very close minded thing to say. When I said that I meant it in the most technical of terms. Like someone may mentally be a man or woman but until they go through surgery/hormone therapy they are still technically whatever gender they are. Just to clarify, I would NEVER call a trans person whatever gender they were transitioning from. I always say "he" when she feels like a he even if she is still technically a she. It's just very confusing to me right now, sorry.
