This. Also so called "feminists" who bash and belittle female characters for being weak, feminine, etc while acting as if their ship is superior because it has a character they hold up as an example of a "strong female character" that all female characters should aspire to be according to their warped view of feminism. After they usually warp the character in their ship into some "strong female character" cariacture. I'm looking at you Bleach and Naruto fandom.

I hate how female characters are never allowed to be weak. Obviously all of them shouldn't be, but all female characters shouldn't be any one thing. Real women have all kinds of strengths and weaknesses and they are all worth being shown in fiction. Same with men, for that matter.

I hate it too. I hate how it's held against a character and used to bash them endlessly. Or how it automatically makes them useless. Because you know, all that matters is being able to kick ass. Showing that women can be vulunerable is not a bad thing. It all comes down to how it is portrayed.
