Watch all three though. Hot Fuzz is my favorite comedy-wise, but he cries more in Shaun of the Dead.
I can't recall any crying scenes in anything he's been in, though it's been a while.

But Simon Pegg just does crushed so well, even when it isn't juxtaposed against something funny. I've always heard most comedians are more depressed, or they're more critical of themselves than most people, and if either of those are true, then I'd say there's a good chance Simon Pegg is just a good actor because he can draw on that stuff so effectively.
