It's just a weird ways of explaining something.

Partly because it's an uncommon way of describing something, but mostly because it sounds like describing a physical wall (like in a house) being "hetero"(-sexual). It kind of makes you wonder if it's a boy wall or a girl wall, and how can you tell? And how can it tell if other walls are boy walls or girl walls? Do boy walls smell different? Or is it determined by the number of studs supporting the drywall? Now that I've gotten started, I wonder what boy walls think of having posters of kittens and flowers tacked up on them? And what do (hetero) girl walls think of having posters of busty swimsuit models tacked up on them? Maybe that's why some posters fall off a lot; the wall is protesting being covered in things that it feels do not properly represent its gender identity!

...or maybe I need a break from the internet for a while.

See, I pictured either a wall made of heteros[exual people] or a wall meant to keep the heteros either in or out. Or a wall that like, when you touch it a 90s Nickelodeon gameshow voiceover dude says "HETERO WALL" and you have to do some kind of challenge? That involves kissing someone of the opposite sex?

...it's a funny phrase and it can go a lot of different ways.
