anyone know how to delete livejournal cookies/make new comments show as anon?

It drives me up the wall that livejournal won't show me new comments in an entry unless I stop visiting a page for several hours and then check again, but not enough to give in and make a livejournal account.

Visiting a page of comments that doesn't exist yet does the trick, but only for the latest page of comments; stuff in the middle still shows as an older version of the webpage.

Any ideas on what to do? Erasing my caché/cookies etc. on my browser doesn't seem to work.

Try swapping web browsers.

Also what browser are you using? If it's firefox, I might be able to help.

:o I will try that! I don't know why didn't even occur to me before.

And yeah, it's Firefox. Any tips are very, very welcome!

So you to Options -> Options -> Privacy and then deleted cookies, right?

Double check your Exceptions, which is in the same area where delete cookies is. See if Livejournal and possibly related sites are blocked for whatever reason.

I wasn't able to login in Youtube because I'd accidentally blocked their cookies.

For some strange reason it's not letting me get into the "Privacy" tab. D: Welp!

But anyway, thanks for the info! I'll see if I can find a way to get to those settings. Shall I serenade this internet browser? Dining? Flowers?
