I've mentioned before that when I looked up other essays by the author of "How to Be a Fan of Problematic Things", I found one about black women and the difficulties of being in two categories. The author said that it's wrong for black people to segregate themselves from white people, because black women may get along better with white women than with black men, and it's unfair to force them to choose. That was the only reason she gave for why it's wrong.

Yeah, some writers are a little TOO problematic to be a fan of.
