I miss when my fandom was tiny. I didn't even take part, since that was when I was still very new to it, but everyone who contributed was very creative and talented. It's still kind of small, but growing. Unfortunately most of the newer fans are just making boring, self-insert OCs. There's a lot they could explore in canon with their OCs, but they don't, I'm not even sure if they've bothered looking into any of the extra canon stuff.
