Seriously, though, I don't think judging a person's intellect based on his or her GL preference is cool. That said, my experiences with Hal and Kyle fans seem to have been the opposite of yours - but that doesn't mean I assume Hal fans are going to be dumber than Kyle fans in general. And you might be surprised how many people genuinely love the old JSA crew.

Even though he has the dumbest-looking mask in the universe and I don't really read JSA anymore, Ted Grant is still my oldskool DC Comics boyfriend. (Also: his son is smokin'.)
