Eh, I guess I understand where you're coming from, but I've never been able to understand how a physical relationship is anything more than a fun bonus to a close friendship. Personally, I've never had a relationship that didn't get less interesting as soon as kissing got involved. You can have the most intense and amazing relationships with people without anything that could really be considered "romantic" and it weirds me out when I see people thinking this is somehow less good just because there's no physical aspect.

Or I could just be bitter over losing a really close amazing friend when he couldn't deal with the fact that I didn't want to make out with him anymore. Whatever! It's still weird to me.
