My roommate planned on making meatloaf for dinner. Her meatloaf is delicious and we were all looking forward to it and then the meat turned out to be bad. We can't afford to go buy more right now either. Dammit.

Ugh I hate that so much. and then I get guilty and mad at myself for caring so much about food that I'm angry about not eating something that I wanted to eat and it's just not a good scene all around.

When we had bacon in the house, I wanted to make a BLT. But there was no lettuce. So I had bacon and eggs and then a caprese sandwich with the tomato. There was still bacon left. Now there are more tomatoes and lettuce, but the bacon is no longer good. No BLTs for me.
