I just have a PC. : / I got the game Braid recently but still have not played it. I don't have a particular genre I like.

I don't do much PC gaming, but Trine is fun side-scrolling action adventure game that's super. I also love Wandering Willows (its not a hardcore game, but it's super addictive). It's like pokemon + fetch requests.

Gemini-Rue is a noir detective adventure game, that uses point and click to solve puzzles and talk to people. It has a really interesting scifi story, that follows a man to get his brother back (that involves a crime syndicate) and Delta-Six who has no memories of his past and finds himself living in a medical institution. I'd recommend it as well.

If you like strategising and puzzling around a bit, I would recommend Long Live the Queen (also mentioned further upthread), it may look like a typical japanese dating sim, but it really is a rather challenging character manager, where you have to guide your character through the story by learning the right skills at the right time or else you Will die... in a variety of gruesome cutesy clad deaths. (your goal is just to stay alive long enough to be crowned...)
