Re: Video Games Thread and Who Bought a PS4?
Heheh, I remember talking to you before about how I hated Jabujabu. XD The Water Temple was intimidating at first, but it kind of made me laugh, because one of the cons I go to, the venue is very round and vertical with elevators in the center, and I'd heard a lot of people say it looked like the Water Temple. It doesn't actually LOOK like it, but it has a similar design, and I've gotten good at navigating that building, so I kinda had a headstart. I did give in and check a walkthrough at one point though, and the walkthrough even said "Now this is where most people get stuck:" and sure enough, that's what I'd failed to check. Hahaha.
And it has not rained in my ACNL town for weeks. Watering all my flowers, EVERY DAY, by hand. (I know I could just put in that ordinance, but I like Bell Boom better. ;)) And in a month... maybe one or two villagers would have moved, but not all. I did some research into TTing without losing villagers last week - I don't normally, but I didn't know about grass degradation until it was too late and I was tired of living in a desert. ;)
Indeed, 3DS is the system of the year for me. Only non-DS/3DS game I've even bought for a reasonably current system has been Ni no Kuni, and I haven't gotten around to starting it because I've got all these great games right here that I can play in bed. :D And we won't even get into how much fun I've been having with the Streetpass stuff between cons and the new Nintendo Zone relay system...
Re: Video Games Thread and Who Bought a PS4?
I remember that! I think I complained about the Water Temple then too, haha. I had almost defeated it on the 3DS when I got stuck and all I had to do was go back to a previous room and play the song of time. I was so pissed, haha.
I have Night Ordinance in my town. I know I could just change the systems internal clock, but I like having stores open for longer too much.
I don't streetpass enough in my city. I might get one person if I'm lucky when I take it out. I haven't been to a Nintendo Zone yet. I'm too lazy to go out of my way and fine one.
Re: Video Games Thread and Who Bought a PS4?
I know exactly which room you mean, because I had to go back to that same room too before I figured out why I couldn't get through that last door... -_- I keep forgetting about those blocks, since they look ornamental...
Neither Night Owl or Early Bird are good for me, because I work during the day when the shops are all open regularly, and so most of my play happens EITHER before OR after work. Not consistently one or the other. Although these days I just play a bit here and there between tasks while working, and get everything taken care of eventually. ;)
Nintendo Zones are at every McDonalds - and there are four within a two mile radius of my house. :D Also for some reason Home Depot has a NZ which is the most reliable for getting tags. I just park in their parking lot for a second and suddenly have nine tags. It's awesome. It's also next to one of the McDonalds and a Gamestop, and there's a Best Buy across the street... from the Target complex where a few of the employees carry 3DSes. :D It's like this great little corridor for Streetpass tags.
