omggggg I had not heard they were making a movie.

On one hand I am SO FUCKING PUMPED, because if it were done well oh my GOD it would be so amazing

on the other hand, I'm so afraid that it'll suck.

but fakdfasjkldfkld I LOVE THAT BOOK SO HARD. IT MADE ME BAWL.

I know I know that is the only book I've ever read for an English class that I have liked. And read over and over again. A-and bought the sequel.

But if Brad Pitt ruins it I will seriously find some way to punch him in the face or at least adequately express my disappointment and fury.

I wish I'd gotten to read it for English! Writing a paper on it seems like it would've actually been enjoyable and not a chore. My mom just brought it home one day and was all YOU NEED TO READ THIS, and it took me a bit to get to it but once I started I seriously couldn't put it down. And the sequel was wonderful.

If this lives up to what it could be, I...don't even know what I'll do, it would be amazing. But if it turns out to suck, I...well, also don't know what I'll do. ;_;

People are being assigned this book for English class? I had no idea that it was so well-known. This makes me happy!

(I'm just about to start the sequel, myself, quite excited about that.)

This is my favorite book of all time! I also had not heard about the movie. When I read 'Brad Pitt' I immediately felt angry because I don't care how good of an actor he is, Brad Pitt =/= Emilio Sandoz! I just . . . ugh, this news makes me both very happy and sad, because I love that my favorite book is getting recognition, but I am so disappointed in the casting choice. Emilio has that very distinct look . . . the dark eyes, dark hair, sharp features . . . not motherfucking BRAD PITT. (And god, you just know there's some gorgeous yet little-known actor out there who would be perfect for the part . . .)
