As for the why... I think these were originally made to help protect horses from allergies, and flies or other biting insects, but I'm not actually sure, sorry!

Oh wow. Those horses look both adorable and humiliated.

I remember reading an article about the two Shetland ponies in their jumpers, but I can't remember why someone knitted them jumpers.

As for the other horses, I have no real words. Confusion, though, lots of confusion.

♥! I so want one of these for my horse. Not for protection from flies or anything sensible like that, just for the cuteness factor. He'd love it, too. He's game for just about anything that gets him attention.

I wonder if the horses like these.
