Daryl/Carol is about the only ship in Walking Dead I care about besides Glenn/Maggie. (Well, I was all for Michonne/Andrea but that didn't work out...) I don't think it'll ever happen though, especially considering recent events. I miss Carol...

Can't wait for Daryl's reaction to her leaving; I'm saddened we haven't seen it yet.

Michonne/Andrea is my headcanon. Makes Michonne's actions make a lot more sense.

Right? At the very least Michonne having feelings for Andrea fits into canon. Not saying it was necessarily meant to be seen that way, but IDC, I'm going with it regardless. (I hear nothing about this pairing. :( Was super pleased when Hardwick was rooting for it last season.)

Me, too. I've loved Daryl/Carol since Sophia went missing. I hate that we're having to wait - possibly until the finale or even post-hiatus season premiere!! to see what happens with Daryl.

OMG where did you hear that?! And how many more episodes do we even have left before the hiatus? I thought TWO episodes was too long a wait, that's some bullshit. :(

(The fact that these episodes are Gov centric make it that much worse for me. Even if the actor is a damn fine man, I loathe Gov and don't want to spend that much time with him. And Walking Dead + Talking Dead being all about him really grinds my gears.)

Edited to say: Apparently the show goes on hiatus December 1. ... We can't be having three episodes in a row of Gov, right? RIGHT?!

Omg, how can people *not* see that Daryl and Carol are so perfect for each other?!!!

I'm only guessing, really. I mean - next week is going to be all Gov. all the time, so it's not inconceivable that they'd fuck us over like that. I just really really really hope that the finale has Daryl either going to look for Carol or beating the fuck out of Rick, and then going to look for Carol. GRR!

I have never sat through a more boring and tedious episode than last nights. Dear gods. I don't even want to watch next week, but if they tuck in some little bit re: the prison, i don't want to miss it. ARRGH.

Well...different tastes and all that, but they have one of the most interesting relationships in the entire show. I love how far they've both come as characters and they've really helped each other change as well.

You have a point. If they want to get the Gov stuff out of the way the mid-season finale might end with Gov showing up at the prison, and if he attacks during the premiere it might be another episode before Carol even gets mentioned. That would upset me so much. (I don't think Daryl will beat the hell out of Rick, however I would like to see Rick get punched. I like him, but it's been a long time coming imo. I also don't know if Daryl will go look for Carol, but at the same time I have a hard time imagining him doing anything differently.)

Agreed tbh. My friends texts about Gov's eyepatch were infinitely more amusing than the actual episode. I'll watch next week no matter what though because I don't like skipping episodes.

I only sort-of like Rick. Mostly his moaning on and on about Carl and life and whatnot irritate me. The world's a different place! Get over it, sheesh. I'm pretty sick of the prison, too. Three or four weeks ago, when the first incident with the fence/walkers happened, I told my SO - 'if they had any sense, they'd go get vans or school buses and park them against the fences. That would work better than stupid poles.'

And then, after the fact, there's Rick doing his 'omg, my kid shoots walkers like they're...zombies!!' stare and he says 'maybe we could park a truck against the fence.' Idiot.

I can't imagine him *not* looking for her, but who knows with these writers.

My feelings about Rick fluctuate. I can see why he annoys you though; it feels like half the series has revolved around Rick's family drama.

You are absolutely right! (And better suited to survive in the zombie apocalypse than some of TWD cast.) Episode one I was saying, "Why don't they have people on walker duty 24/7? The walkers are going to pile up fast and push the gates over!" I don't see them lasting much longer in the prison. Before the season ends they'll probably leave to try and find the place mentioned on the radio.

Right? lol. Rick's not exactly the best leader... His emotions get in the way of things, which I can understand, but he flip flops a lot on what's okay and what isn't and it can be frustrating.

Yeah, he just...i dunno. I get how hard it is to be the de facto leader, but his whole 'i'm going to check out and farm' thing was stupid. Yeah, i wonder if they'll bring the radio thing back soon or not. I'd actually forgotten about it until you mentioned it! Sheesh.
