I feel kinda bad for not liking zie, hir, etc. All of the gender neutral prounouns I've seen sound so ridiculous so I don't use them. However if I met anyone who wanted to be referred by any of those, I would. I wouldn't want to be an asshole just because I dislike a few words.

I hate that shit too. He/she is what I usually use when in doubt.

I use singular they. I don't mind using it and by using it, I'm less likely to get dogpiled than if I used he/she. I've seen people get dogpiled for using she/he so I'm hesitant to use it. I really wish that there were gender neutral pronouns that didn't sound so ridiculous.

"They" is a regular english pronouns. Why does it sound ridiculous to you?

They doesn't sound ridiculous. Meant to say that I wish there were more gender neutral pronouns than just they. Ones that don't sound ridiculous like the ones people are coming up with.

Hm, yeah, true. I've never met anyone who insists on using those pronouns over "they" though.
