I felt everything she said to Loki was part of the act. There was no definite indication that she was in love with Clint, but I also don't think that's a definite indication that she wasn't. And I also don't understand why them winding up in a relationship has to be a requisite for her potential feelings to be a real thing. Maybe he doesn't return them, or maybe it's not urgent, or maybe it's for a different movie, or maybe they really didn't want to make it a focus (that would be refreshing tbh - to have it exist but not be a huge screen time sucker), or maybe they just really didn't want to interfere with the endgame and resolution of The Avengers with a romantic subplot, which I totally understand and appreciate; I thought the movie was excellent. Or maybe she really doesn't have romantic feelings for him. We really don't know. (I'd be ok with it either way. I just love their close partnership; romantic or platonic endgame would make me happy, either one, as long as it was one well.)
