Um ... no. Pretty sure the book and the show are the same, in which he is the one who saves Sansa from being raped.

He definitely isn't a completely terrible person. But he definitely isn't a completely good person either. As others have pointed out, this series excels at shades of grey, since almost every character has a bit of both in them, with a few noteable exceptions.

They're probably referring to Blackwater in which he pins her on the bed but even then he never attempts to rape her.

Yeah, I'm a bit fuzzy about events in the books since it's been a few years since I read most of them but I was pretty sure I'd remember if that ever happened, since I moderately ship the two of them.

The book is a little more vague about what happened during that scene though. Sansa later finds her memory is hazy about the details herself, so neither she nor the reader can be sure about what happened.

Knowing the Hound's character, I will never be convinced that anything more happened.
