My little brother is actually adopted as well. He was never any less a part of the family; I can't imagine thinking of him as anything other than "my brother", to be honest. We did tell him pretty early on (actually, *I* did, because I had a really big mouth, lol). But it was just in a sort of matter-of-fact, well, you came from a different mommy's belly, but then we went and picked you up and you're in our family now. So I'm very much pro-adoption; just trying to figure out if bio kids is also the way to go.
