The problem with the whole "that's not in the Bible you tool!" approach is that a lot of truly loathsome things ARE in the Bible. At best, you risk getting into heavy debate about how literally to interpret the Scripture, what the passage REALLY meant, etc.

I think simply announcing that you don't agree and that's not the kind of Christian you want to be and then making a dignified exit would be a good idea.
