Added! And I'm well and truly post-game, mostly playing around with Friend Safari and practicing breeding for IVs (something I've never actually done). Also, uh, Wonder Trade. A lot of Wonder Trade.

My team is: Renard the Delphox (male, modest nature on first try!), Luc the Lucario (male, hasty, the Tower of Mastery one), Alanna the Sylveon (female, modest AND female on the second try), Jacques the Roserade (male, mild nature), Adrien the Lapras (male, docile nature, also the one you get gifted), and Ursula the Malamar (female, hasty nature).

Never used a Poison type, and I picked Jacques up on a whim to tackle the Rock gym with the intention of boxing him and getting Goomy later on, and he just... became one of my most reliable team members. And Adrien was an absolute lifesaver during the E4. Renard has been a fantastic stalwart throughout the team and usually, uh, a fair bit overlevelled, Lucario has been one of my all-time favourites for ages, and Alanna has managed to kick Sigilyph out of my top five. The only one who doesn't get quite as much use is Ursula, and I still adore the hell out of her typing.

Malamar are such weird, interesting Pokemon! I love their bizarre evolution method. And yeah, Roserade are surprisingly awesome Pokemon; poison types in general are really benefiting from the fairy type advantage, I think.

And man, this game in general is great for making your team feel ridiculously powerful. I'm not even at the eighth gym yet and my whole team is hovering around level seventy! It's weird, but fun.

They're so neat! I actually messed up the timing the first time and she ended up evolving at 31, not 30, but it's just. Hilarious to describe. And this is the first time I've ever used a Poison type, so definitely! (Also the first time I've ever given a Lucario a Steel move. I am missing the move tutors, though. My W2 Lucario had Ice Punch and it was amazing.)

I KNOW. I was hitting the low fifties after the SIXTH gym, they would have been able to curbstomp my post-game White team at that point!
