I agree, but that's not what I mean. Diary of a Mad Black Woman, for example, had a lawyer who literally never used formal English or even sounded like a lawyer, ever, not even in a courtroom. It was really poorly written dialogue, really, even though I found the rest of the movie enjoyable (depressing) enough.
