Re: Being Human...anybody else watching?

It reminded me a bit of Blade Runner (more in the visuals, I think), and it reminded me a lot of the Alien Nation TV show from sometime in the 90s. Loved that show so much, and am hoping that this one works out well - I've only seen the pilot ep, but I like what I've seen so far.

I am jealous of all the sylveons coming up! I have an eevee, but I haven't evolved it yet. I need to start breeding it!

While I've not seen the tv series for Alien Nation, I have seen the movie. I love it so much.

Chandelure is so cute ♥ Love the name choices!

+1. I'm mystified at this new interpretation of "time flies" as if it were a new subspecies of fly. Instead of, y'know, time flying quickly by. The second sentence is the joke, not the first.

Ooh, Alien Nation! That was so good. Have to rewatch that some time.

Vash is an Angel

(Anonymous) 2013-11-22 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
If this will let me post... I don't have an LJ anymore, just browsing through here because I'm bored and saw this - fellow Trigun fan.

Don't worry. When you think about it, Vash is an angel, of sorts. Also, if you have a view of Heaven as being a place made up of anything you want / need it to be, maybe he'll be there.

As soon as I saw the secret, I knew that it would be swarming with asses screeching at you that "Heaven isn't real." Don't listen to them. As far as I'm concerned, the mind makes a lot of things real for us and what happens at death is a mystery. There's plenty of testimony by people who've almost died that say that at least some of us have brains that will give us euphoric experiences as we are going out. If you really cease to exist after that, how are you going to know? I think when you're dying, if you "see Heaven" and happen to see Vash there, you aren't going to care either way. And there's shouldn't be any shame in believing in a place you may or may not see... as I see it, the only people who are "wasting their lives" are those who feel the need to go around telling others that they are "wasting their lives."

I'M NOT GETTING YOUR POINT.

I've never caught a shiny pokemon before. I'm jealous! Not even in XY where everyone is getting them.

There is a pokemon bank thing coming out that you can put pokemon in and then use in XY. I think you have to pay a fee for it tho. http://www.pokemonxy.com/en-us/strategy/

I still have my old gold and silver, but would love to play the heart versions of them one day.

Not OP. How do you feel about the term asexual, then? Honestly curious.

True. I have always know he doesn't exist.

It does suck that she doesn't exist in real life, OP. At least there are plenty of other badass ladies in history for you to love? :)

S1 is pretty terrible. I'm not even sure why I stayed on, but I'm glad I did.

I got that. I thought I just might be missing more to the secret. I guess not then.

Those are some interestingly drawn tits.

The nipples look like bottle caps.

The proportion of breast size compared to waist size reminds me of a secret a couple of weeks ago about comic book anatomy of female characters.

Also, tits that big would sag real quick. She needs a bra.

Damn, you have some intense headcanons! :) I like that 3 of your X pokemon like siestas XD

My smaller headcanons (as said to badass_tiger):

Spritzee is my groups caretaker. She's the oldest and wisest. My Doublade is the young pup of the group and is a bit too rash.

My Venasuar and Greninja are the old papas of the group and are besties. Blaziken thinks he's the coolest and hates failure. Kadabra is the new member, but has an old soul.

A dimension, I think. Like length and width. I think that's the best you're gonna get.

Re: Mis-remembering things from your childhood

[identity profile] mimi-sardinia.livejournal.com 2013-11-22 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Nah, it's more that Trunchbull makes a statement that the cook "put her blood sweat and tears into it", which I always took as the figurative statement it is usually used as.

Then some of the children watching think it's poisoned, but no, it's just that it's an effin' huge cake.
