Don't worry. When you think about it, Vash is an angel, of sorts. Also, if you have a view of Heaven as being a place made up of anything you want / need it to be, maybe he'll be there.
As soon as I saw the secret, I knew that it would be swarming with asses screeching at you that "Heaven isn't real." Don't listen to them. As far as I'm concerned, the mind makes a lot of things real for us and what happens at death is a mystery. There's plenty of testimony by people who've almost died that say that at least some of us have brains that will give us euphoric experiences as we are going out. If you really cease to exist after that, how are you going to know? I think when you're dying, if you "see Heaven" and happen to see Vash there, you aren't going to care either way. And there's shouldn't be any shame in believing in a place you may or may not see... as I see it, the only people who are "wasting their lives" are those who feel the need to go around telling others that they are "wasting their lives."
