...Maybe it's not quite what you envisioned, but the first thing that came to mind for me when trying to imagine what you described were the national costumes for Miss Universe contestants. They differ a lot between countries but plenty run the "go big or go home" route that FF and VS tend to tread down.

Grabbed some images from past years, most from Japan, that have some blend of fierceness/over-the-topness/skin. These are technically sfw, but probably not a good idea to have open in a browser at work. Especially Japan 2009.
