I don't think that's how low libido works, though. A person with a low libido is only rarely or slightly interested in sex, even when they have a partner they're sexually interested in. A demisexual person could be super horny, and just not have anyone they're interested in acting on those urges with - or when they do establish a connection with someone that allows them to experience sexual attraction, they could want to go at it like bunnies all the time. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with libido.

Hang on, though. Most people get super horny and don't go have sex with random people they know. I'd say that there's a sizable amount of people out there (maybe most people?) that don't want to have sex with people they don't know well, and even if they tried to have sex, it wouldn't go well because they'd be uncomfortable if they didn't totally trust and feel like they knew that person.

I agree that this situation isn't necessarily about libido - maybe a picky libido. but I just don't get why this has to be a label.
