No, those are arbitrary units made up to try and measure time. They're based entirely on the time it takes our planet to do one full spin. What I want to know is what IS time? In the physical world, if it were unobserved, what is it? Is it a particle? Is it a wave? A force? It exists because it can be measured, but WHAT is it?

A banana.

But seriously I'm pretty sure it's an abstract concept that scholars in all different fields have been trying to define, well, FOR A WHILE so expecting to get a concrete answer from some random people on fandomsecrets is probably not gonna work out for you.

The best definition I can glean from the wikipedia article on it is that it measures the duration of events and the intervals between them and that is just gonna have to do.

A dimension, I think. Like length and width. I think that's the best you're gonna get.

Huh. Wow. Mind=blown.

Well done, I kinda wasn't expecting a satisfactory answer but that'll do nicely.

Time is the process of entropy, imho
