Thanks for the recs! I guess I mean (but then, you probably know) I hate when the the fact that the character is gay is the comic relief. I know Japan isn't the best at portraying gay people realistically in its dramas and movies, but it's one thing to have the characters be fun and silly and another to be "LOL this campy gay side character is totally crushing on the protagonist and would probably sexually assault him if he got him alone!" etc.

As long as the characters get some respect and have characterization beyond "gay" then I am probably interested. Thanks again. :D
