Re: The plot of Supernatural

The ratings are actually really good considering it's in its ninth season. According to this article (http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/05/23/supernatural-has-the-biggest-adults-18-49-ratings-percentage-growth-of-the-2012-13-television-season/184114/) the ratings in season 8 were up 22% compared to season 7, and I think they're even higher this year.

As for why there's not a lot about it in the media, I think it's mainly because it's on a less popular network. I think if it were on one of the huge ones it'd probably get more coverage. Not a ton because fantasy/sci-fi shows don't get much press compared to comedies or procedurals but more than it gets now.
