(Anonymous) 2013-11-22 09:47 pm (UTC)(link)As far as I remember Gakko ja oshierarenai! had a bisexual protagonist in love with his best male friend, who is straight. There might also have been a not-so-straight girl (or more like her sexuality was a mystery).
If you like slow, quiet movies, Aozora no yukue (Way of blue sky) has a lesbian character who is in love with her best friend.
I think the 5th episode of Toshi Densetsu no Onna 2 had a lesbian couple (and somehow nobody seemed shocked about that, which is rare for Japanese media Oo).
The youngest brother of the male protagonist in Hayami-san to yobareru Hi has a short "non-platonic" relationship with his best friend, who I'm not sure if he was really gay or just still unsure about his sexuality just like the brother.
Love Shuffle has a bisexual male character.
There's also Mendol (it's quite bad, though - I only watched it because I like Takamina), that has some lesbian fanservice that doesn't end up as just fanservice at the end.
The weird but funny movie Survive Style 5+ has a gay character. SPOILER:
