I agree, as a woman I didn't get into comics for the shipping. I got into it for the giant shark ripping bastard smugglers and treasure hunters apart and gore everywhere.

It was the Brit's imprint of Action Comics, had a giant Jaws-rip off feature in it called Hook-Jaw. Featuring a giant great white that had a hook stuck in its Jaw, chomped only on bad people, and had a super-power (because, fuck it, being a super-sized sentient shark wasn't super-powered enough) of being able to summon shark-swarms.
